Impossible to direct play some strm files

Hello,

 

I directly attached one of the files who didn't work. It's propably due to the file format but i'll let you tell me why.

 

Only on Emby TV for android using the direct play, the playback doesn't work.

 

I tried with :

 

- Emby for Android

- Embycon on Kodi

- Emby on Iphone and AppleTV

- Emby Theater

 

 

the same file works on all of them.

 

For your information, I'm using a Nvidia Shield.

 

I've checked the server log and I don't have any error in it

It's not transcoding. I disable the transcoding for this user. I need to direct play only

Try turning it back on, then check the server dashboard and it will tell you why it's not direct playing.

Mpeg4 is not supported? But it depend the device or the application? Another thing if I enable the transcoding all my content is transcoded or direct streaming. How to do direct play first and transcoding is it can't direct play

Hi.  That's exactly what it will do if you leave the options at default.
