Firestick high bitrate FLAC Audio

I've noticed that most music will not play anymore on any of my Amazon Fire devices.

I am running server on MyCloud PR4100.

.

One observation is that high bitrate (3000kbps) will play but lower (800kbps) will not. It loads song title, etc, but the time shows 5:00 regardless of length, and it does not play (although it does have visual on now playing icon with bars showing sound, but I assume this is only a visual and not actual feedback from music).

Another observation is, same as report of center audio not working in video, that this occurred right after an update from Amazon to machines.

Lastly, Emby will stream all songs to all other devices I have (Shield, iPhone, Kodi... etc)

 

I know logs are needed and I just have to figure how to access them on Firestick.4K.

Just wanted to see if anyone else was experiencing this.

@@Luke Ok, sent log via Fire TV Cube debug interface logged in as JDizzy at around 5:15PM Pacific Time.

 

Tried to play flac file (808 State) of about 800kbps which didn't play.

Then played flac file (Allman Brothers) 3000kbps which did play.

There is obviously some sort of issue with FLAC on the Fire devices.  We'll look into it.

Once again, it will play on Fire devices I have but not through Emby.

Had to Zip it to allow upload.

As an added comment....

Using Emby for Kodi, Emby streams flac files to Kodi on Fire device just fine and plays them.

It is only with the actual Emby player on Fire device that it is not working.

Tried beta and same result... as if the Fire device is not talking to the server with some flac files (as I mentioned, I have some 3000kbps flac that do play).

Tried mp3 also and they play fine.

I confirmed flac playback on the Fire for 1.7.22a.

I'm currently running 1.7.23a and have flac that does not work!

It actually seems to be related to the backend, not the app because it will not play in a web browser either, but will play fine on a the device itself. I have LOTS of files that are like this.

Any input?

 

My dumb ass. It was the folder not updated. Sorry!
