MisterAngelus 7 Posted May 24, 2019 Posted May 24, 2019 I'm using Version 4.1.1.0 and I'm pretty sure you used to be able to do a manual Chapter image extraction under Scheduled Tasks but I don't see that option any longer.. was that option removed or built directly into library scan?

You need to check each library and verify the Thumbnail settings. You have interval images or chapter images now.

So if I have actual chapters in the mkv that are not at 5 min intervals, the BIF image shown at say, 12:38 is actually the image grabbed at 10:00? Not that it matters much but is this actually what Emby is doing? BTW, I have my BIF interval at 5 seconds.

Should be close to actual time stamp discussed here https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/70896-41012-chapter-image-extraction/?p=717291
