Same thing (around 39-40 minute mark) was reproduced with MKV file just now. Here are some logs.

Let me know if I need to try more scenarios. It might take a while to do, since I need to be watching/playing the episode until it happens, but I'm happy to help in any way I can.

Did you play from the beginning or resume? Did you seek at all during playback?

I start by playing the files from the beginning, then after they've crashed I will restart and skip forward to the point where they crashed. They are however already marked as watched then, so I almost never use the resume function. I generally don't skip/seek when watching things, that's only done if it's already crashed once.

I've been having this same problem for a while as well. It seems to only happen in a web browser and only with tv shows. They always end a few minutes early but if i go back and start again from the moment it stopped I can finish the episode.

Hi, this should be improved with emby server 4.2. if you're still experiencing the problem then let's look at a specific example. Thanks !
