New user, can't log in

I created an account, used it for a while, it hung up so I closed it, now can't log in

I sent forgot password, first time it told me my email was bad, it wasn't, second and third time it said I would get response, I didn't

Hi there, what account are you referring to, Emby Connect? If you're able to use this forum then you're in luck, as it is exactly the same account.

I'm not sure what's going on, I had created the forum account after the problem started so I logged into connect using the forum credentials (different than my original connect user name) couldn't open server so I attempted to reinstall server, got an error, but then I was connected to original server and everything is working, I'm going to let it be until next time I have to log off and on and see what happens then

Is it possible you were just confused between the two login methods? Emby Connect and your local Emby server users are two different things.

At that time that is possible, as I said this is a little confusing, but there is something happening, when I left it last night I had it set to record this morning, when I got up it had not recorded and when I tried to play the program from the guide all I got was the rotating circle. the only way I could find out of it was to reboot the computer, the server started and then I could play and record.

What kind of live tv are you using?

I just switched to use Emby Theater, seems to be working better now, like it better than running in browser. I think I'll call this solved.
