jellelle 3 Posted May 17, 2019 Posted May 17, 2019 (edited) Hi I have issues (stuttering / not playing at all) with some videofiles in Emby Theatre from the Windows Store, while the regular desktop app (PC) and the Android app plays them just fine. I have bought the HEVC Video Extensions from the store but I guess it's a codec problem. I use directplay for streaming, so no transcoding. I will pm a file to those who are interested (@Luke). Out of curiosity: How comes the desktop app has no playback issues while the Windows Store one does? Thanks Edited May 17, 2019 by jellelle

Thanks They use different players. The store app uses the windows player and the desktop app uses mpv, which is a much better player. 1
