Can't pause or stop while Chromecasting

For the past few months, no controls work when Chromecasting from the iOS app. If I tap the cast icon and tap "Remote Control" the modal closes but nothing happens (as in I am not taken to the remote control screen).

 

Pausing from the Google Home app also doesn't work (although stopping does, but that's handled totally outside of Emby).

 

Pausing/stopping with my TV remote over CEC also doesn't work.

 

All of the above used to work just fine :/

Hi there, it seems to be working fine in my testing here. What are you trying to play? What version of iOS?

Happens with any media file.

 

iOS: 12.2

Emby Client: 1.77

Emby Server: 4.1.1.0 on Ubuntu Server 18.10

I've noticed this at times where volume or pausing doesn't work. If your playback position is wrong then it's not actively tracking. Close the app and re-open a time or two to fix it.
