bozrdnag 75 Posted May 17, 2019 Posted May 17, 2019 I am noticing that often times when playing an already watched video and stopping part way through that Kodi and Emby will then show the video as unwatched. Has anyone else seen this behavior?

hstamas 179 Posted May 18, 2019 Posted May 18, 2019 Are you sure it’s showing as fully unwatched and not just in a “continue watching” state? I’ve recently gotten rid of cable so I’m watching lots of programs from my library that I’ve already watched previously. If I watch again and stop before it’s finished it will be listed in the “continue to watch” section and show as partially watched but the actual played status in Emby is actually listed (red check mark) as fully watched.

Make sure you have "Show Advanced Settings" option enabled at the top of the page and scroll to the bottom for the "Playback Settings" options. Check to see what the "resume" settings are. The defaults are 5, 95 and 300 respectively.
