Sergio 4 Posted May 11, 2019 Posted May 11, 2019 (edited) Even when I have in my collections marked the check for saving subtitles along with media files, it's still saving them in the metadata folders. This is a docker installation, and I've checked the executing user and permissions, but everything seems right to me. Any idea in what else to look for or anything to search in the logs? # docker exec -it emby /bin/sh # ls -lha /media/storage/ total 180344 drwxrwxr-x 5 root root 4.0K May 1 20:09 . drwxr-xr-x 3 root root 4.0K Nov 10 13:03 .. drwxrwsr-x 15 1020 users 4.0K Nov 15 17:34 Musica drwxrwsr-x 6 1020 users 36.0K Mar 25 20:19 Peliculas drwxrwsr-x 4 1020 users 4.0K Mar 19 21:56 Peliculas animacion drwxrwsr-x 32 1020 users 4.0K Nov 14 20:45 Series drwxrwsr-x 71 1020 users 4.0K Mar 12 15:38 Series animacion drwxrwsr-x 4 1020 users 4.0K Nov 15 17:51 emby.backup # ps PID USER TIME COMMAND 1 root 0:00 s6-svscan -t0 /var/run/s6/services 33 root 0:00 s6-supervise s6-fdholderd 172 root 0:00 s6-supervise emby-server 175 root 0:00 sh ./run 198 1020 4:57 /system/EmbyServer -programdata /config -ffmpeg /bin/ffmpeg -ffprobe /bin/ffprobe -restartexitcode 3 26236 root 0:00 /bin/sh 26747 root 0:00 ps I've tried to touch a file, but as the user doesn't exists and the docker (photon) image doesn't have user utilities, I dunno how to impersonate that 1020 user. Luke 42078 Posted May 11, 2019 Posted May 11, 2019 Hi, assuming you did actually enable this, then this generally means that Emby Server does not have write access to your media folder. If you can resolve that, then future downloads will be saved there. Please let us know if this helps. Thanks.
