CharleyVarrick 283 Posted May 11, 2019 Posted May 11, 2019 I've been meaning to ask this for a while, but since v4.x, when web browsing libraries, we used to see the number of media files, like 101-200 / 863 for example. Has this feature been removed altogether or is it just hidden/switched off, in which case I'd like to know how I can re-enable it.
Gilgamesh_48 1240 Posted May 11, 2019 Posted May 11, 2019 With the implementation of collections and the ability to choose to hide/display the contents thereof the count became more problematic. That is should the "number" be the number of items that can actually be displayed or should it be the total number of playable items that can be accessed fro the current view or should it be something completely different. I think it should be the first. If my old brain is accessing my failing memory correctly I remember someone saying the display will be back and it will be that first choice. But you never know what my old brain might invent or mis-remember. 1
Deathsquirrel 745 Posted May 11, 2019 Posted May 11, 2019 It was temporarily removed in v4. Luke has said it will be brought back. 1
nguyenf1 8 Posted May 14, 2019 Posted May 14, 2019 If you use Windows Media center, it still supports showing current index out of total library count.
