Bart91106 2 Posted May 8, 2019 Posted May 8, 2019 Depending on whether I'm using Android TV (Mibox 4) or Fire tablet using Android app, the resolution of a few movies are different. For example, on tablet a film it's 1080 on tv it's 720. Most of the time the resolution matches, but not always. Does anyone know why? Thanks Sent from my KFDOWI using Tapatalk
Luke 42078 Posted May 8, 2019 Posted May 8, 2019 HI there, can you please go over an example? thanks.
Bart91106 2 Posted May 8, 2019 Author Posted May 8, 2019 Sure, here are some pics. The resolution, per properties details is width 1904 height 1072. Running Emby 4.1.1.0 on w10. Emby tv apk on Mibox, Emby app on Fire Hd 8 (7gen). Thanks! Sent from my KFDOWI using Tapatalk

Bart91106 2 Posted May 9, 2019 Author Posted May 9, 2019 Thanks. FYI on my Fire stick this same film is listed as 720p as well via the Emby app for fire stick. Sent from my KFDOWI using Tapatalk
Happy2Play 9780 Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 I know there are several topics on this, but don't remember ever seeing a definitive answer. What are the Resolution label thresholds? Another topic https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/45534-resolution-conflict/
