Mixed Folder

Hi,

 

Just installed this but it cant seem to recognize any tv show episodes. I have a partition with movies and tv show single episodes in folders and others on root of the drive.

Any hints?

It might be helpful for you to check out the media library wiki here:

In the long run, you will probably find that it is easier to group your media into "types". Like make a foider called "Movies" and put all of your movies in there. Each movie should also be in it's own subfolder (refer to the wiki linked above). Another folder called "TV" with each series in it's own subfolder.

 

I've got a mixed content folder for all of the kids stuff that I have.  I will eventually separate it all, but it sure would have been easier to manage if I had just separated it to begin with.

Movies don't have to be in their own folder though.

Thats a limitation I didnt have on Plex.

Might stay on there until I can have time to sort my collection out.

I don't think there is a limitation. What we need to see are some specific examples.

For me I have D drive. In the root of the drive I have mixed movies and shows single files :

 

D:\movie1

D:\show1

 

Then I have same but in folders:

D:\movie2\movie2

D:\show2\show2
