Angelblue05 4132 Posted May 6, 2019 Posted May 6, 2019 (edited) Doesn't look related to Emby for Kodi. Can you disable the add-on logging and enable kodi debug? Provide a new log capturing this. Hopefully there will be more information. What if you open Kodi at 7:57, does it close/crash a minute later? It seems like a stopping event is triggered. hstamas 179 Posted May 6, 2019 Author Posted May 6, 2019 Logging set up as asked and will launch tomorrow a 7:57 to see if it crashes withou anything playing. I have nothing running on any kind schedule on this clien box (Nvidia Shield). Pretty basic setup. One thing I did was a restore from a Kodi backup that was a version behind the currently installed Kodi (backup was Kodi 18.1 - Installed Kodi is 18.2). Wonder if that mismatch might be causing it? Will report back tomorrow.
pünktchen 1409 Posted May 6, 2019 Posted May 6, 2019 Ha, Shield! The same happens for me. It started out of nothing some months ago and now it's every day one minute later. Even a fresh Kodi install without any backup does not help.

It reconnects a few seconds later. I’m honestly not sure what it could be, but it is most certainly not related to Emby for Kodi. Edited May 6, 2019 by Angelblue05

I will still get a Kodi log tonight for you @@Angelblue05 but its looking like its a Shield issue. 1

Since I use the Shield for Emby 99% of the time I’ve not hade a different app running when this occurs so I don’t know if it’s just Kodi that this affects? Will try and time it tonight to be using a different app at 8pm just to see if tha crashes too. 1

It was either a factory reset or when I installed the developer image discussed here that seems to have fixed the issue for me. Last week, all of the sudden, my freshly set up Kodi install just started randomly dropping TV series. They just disappeared from the library view but are present in Emby server. I will play next week and let Kodi installed again and get you some los when/if it happens again. 1

I am not aware of this issue, I’ve not seen it myself. Is this something you are able to replicate? There’s been a few times I did say to repair tv show libraries to prevent issues, did you do that? Anyway, keep me posted if you ever want to look into it. Feel free to pm logs.
