ebr 16169 Posted November 13, 2019 Posted November 13, 2019 Where did this item come from? It is reporting the channel count incorrectly which is why the app is not playing it properly. It says it is 6 channels but it is actually 7.1.

Mkvtoolnix has problems to correctly identify and set the channel count for EAC3 audio tracks. You can correct the number within the header editor of mkvtoolnix or with mkvpropedit. 1

"channels_original" is a field from the output of the MediaInfo application. It's nothing official or standardized but rather an "invention" of the MediaInfo developer and its naming is not really intuitive. The developer also states that "Cannels_Original" would be taken from the raw audio stream while Channels would be taken from the "container header". While I think that "stream metadata" would be a more valid naming, I can confirm what @@pünktchen already said: The source file is encoded incorrectly.

cordo79 1 Posted November 16, 2019 Posted November 16, 2019 Thanks. Now the stutter is gone when i dont change the audio channel while playing. When i start direct with this audio channel its ok. It transcode the audio to 5.1. reason is because to mutch audio channels
