Photos - Sorting setting in overview should also be taken for Slideshow

Hi,

I use Emby to mange all my photos. The prefered sort order critera is EXIF creation date. This seems to work in the overview. 

But when clicking on a photo and navigating through the slideshow, the order inside of the slideshow is not correct.

So when I go to the next Picture in the slideshow it is not the one which was showen in the overview as next picture.

 

Is it possible to fix this?

Hi there, can you please go over an example? Are you saying the slideshow order does not match what you see in the user interface?

Hi, yes. The order setting in the web interface is not the same as in the slideshow.

For example, photos are taken with two different cameras during holiday. The naming of the pictures are like "cam_a_0001.jpg" and "cam_b_0001.jpg" 

And the sorting according to timestamp is:

- cam_a_0001.jpg

- cam_b_0001.jpg

- cam_b_0002.jpg

- cam_a_0002.jpg

 

I works for the thumbnails (see screenshot).

 

But when I click on the first picture cam_a_0001.jpg th open the slideshow, the next in the slideshow will be cam_a_0002.jpg. I guess its orderd by name then.

Date added means the date created timestamp of the photo files. have you checked this?
