sfatula 207 Posted May 5, 2019 Posted May 5, 2019 With one of the latest server changes? Used to be, I could click on Roku or ATV a show listed on the home screen under latest recorded shows. That would bring me to the recorded shows seasons screen, where there was a play button, and it would play the next new episode. Not any more. Now, it does bring me to the same screen, but play is missing. I have to scroll down into seasons, and scroll to the one that shows unplayed episodes and click on it. Then it shows a list of played and unplayed episodes, and I have to scroll to the new unplayed one and hit play at last. Not ideal.

The other, does not. Even though both of them came from the latest recordings on the home screen! Consistency is desired here. Confuses the wife.

Confuses the wife. Does this happen on the Roku? You mentioned the Roku and ATV in your original post. Those images you gave as examples are certainly not the Roku. That is the Apple TV and it is using the older detail screen view. The Roku uses the new detail screen view(Apple probably can't do) and should always work exactly as the web app in regard to play next up. Is this only affecting your Apple TV? Can you provide images of the Roku app exhibiting these flaws? I am curious as consistency and predictable behavior is what we want. We don't want random or spurious differences. Thanks. sfatula 207 Posted May 5, 2019 Author Posted May 5, 2019 Ok, IOS app has a play button, works fine. Webapp has play button also. Roku does as well, so, of all my clients, only ATV has the behavior shown
