Transcoding locally - x265 Playback Errors - Permenant Edit Mode

I'm having a few different issues I'd like to get solved. The main issue I'd like solved is that my x265 files cut out near the end of every playback. The episodes are about 40-45 minutes long and they always cut out between the 40-42 minute mark. I decided to check the logs, didn't find a reason for the error but noticed these files are getting transcoded even though they are local. Not only are the on the same LAN, it's literally the same machine with the server and playback. There should be no transcoding. I've attached a sample transcode log below.

 

I'm also having an issue for about 2 weeks now that popped up out of nowhere. The issue is that my emby library is in edit mode and I can't exit it. When I mouse over a tv show or movie, it gives me the checkbox to select them for editing, deleting, etc. See image below. I'm not sure if this is related but at the same time this started, my bookmark to emby messed up as well. I use the address - http://192.168.0.5:8096/ - but instead of taking me to the main library page like it normally did, it now takes me directly to the admin dashboard, then I have to click home to get to my library.

I've tried reinstalling emby server on top of the existing install but that did not help. I wanted to post here before I tried a full fresh install.

Hi, there's nothing wrong here. This is a design change to make the multi-select feature easier to discover.

I didn't notice I had to click attach afterwards. My mistake. I understand the edit part but is there a reason why my link takes me to the dashboard now instead of the library? Is there a link to take me directly to the library? http://192.168.0.5:8096/web/index.html#!/home.htmltakes me to the dashboard as well.

It stops playback, just a black screen. I can still see the on screen display controls but can't continue the video. I have to either back out or skip to the next episode then back to the episode I was watching.

 

I tried using ip:port but it still takes me directly to the admin dashboard by redirecting to http://ip:port/web/index.html#!/dashboard.html

It seems to be any HEVC video. It's happened with almost every video in this series and others.
