Understand a few settings on library scan

I really would like some confirmation on this:

 

If I select

> metadata savers as .nfo

> Save artwork into media folders

> Download images in advance

 

Let it scan over night.

 

If I move the series folder to a new destination or change the path to my library.

Or if I perform a brand new scan in a folder where tv shows already have the nfo files and all the images and all the subtitles.

 

Would emby do it all over again? Or is it smart enough to see the nfo and images present in the folders?

Emby will read and use all existing metadata and images saved with your media.
