How do I disable Instant Search?

How do I disable Instant Searches? When I start typing to search for movies or anything, search results start to appear before I finish typing. This is very laggy when over the internet and have a big library.

Is there anyway to add a 2 or 3 second lag before start searching or only when you hit enter?

Hi, there's currently no option for this although we will be revamping search in the future. In the meantime we can look at increasing the delay. Thanks.

There is nothing you can do.  I guess depending on how your are connecting you could change the \Emby-Server\system\dashboard-ui\bower_components\emby-webcomponents\search\searchfields.js, but this would obviously not affect online web app connections.  But hacks like these are reset with every server update.
