davesurfer 18 Posted May 2, 2019 Posted May 2, 2019 (edited) So just updated to 4.1.1.0 on the server (which is the same machine where Emby Theater is installed), restarted and then found that during playback there's no OSD, like we can't see a progress indicator when paused or forwarding now, there's nothing there any more. (All video files are local to the machine and aren't on network drives) Another problem is that any new videos that get copied over, the .nfo metadata and jpegs aren't being automatically created for them and so they are not available to play in Emby Theater. I have to go into the metadata manager and manually refresh each episode file to create the metadata. Did something get toggle off that I have to re-enable? Also the Windows taskbar is showing even during playback, very distracting and it cuts off part of the video. Also can't fast forward during playback. I remember there was a way to go back to an older version. Let me know where this is or I'll try looking. Thanks! Sometimes you just want to sit down and watch a show, got a pizza, and then nothing works because of an update. I think I'll turn off auto updates, then check in with the forum once every few months to see if an update is stable or not. Edited May 3, 2019 by davesurfer
davesurfer 18 Posted May 2, 2019 Author Posted May 2, 2019 UPDATE - I've upgraded Emby Theatre from 2.9 to 3.0, still no difference.
Luke 42077 Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 Hi there, I apologize for the disruption. Can you see if any of the techniques mentioned in this topic help with this issue: https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/72982-overlay-missing-on-308/ Thanks.
