Noob here

I am trying to import my movie folder into Emby but I get this error when I add a path. "The path could not be found. Please ensure the path is valid and try again."

I have labeled the folder  Movies
The path is to my server 192.168.1.7 /Public_2/Shared Videos/Movies


any help would be appreciated

Hi, what exactly is the path that you entered?

Folder:   MyCloudPR4100\Public_2\Movies

Shared network folder: \\Shared Videos\Movies

That doesn't look valid. Is that the exact path you would use to browse in the file explorer on the nas?

When I log into my nas on my mac, I can just click the Public_2 folder on my desktop, from there I go to Shared Videos and then Movies or TV, or which ever folder I would like to access

I didn't use "root" which is what I should have done in the first place.   Thank you for your help
