funwithmedia 373 Posted May 2, 2019 Posted May 2, 2019 This is a small thing, but it just occurred to me it could be interesting to be able to have the option to sort threads in the Feature Request forum by User Votes. This would help anyone interested to be able to see which Feature Requests are the most popular, most desired, in relation to other Feature Requests. Perhaps it also might help give folks some perspective too on why a given request hasn't been implemented yet. Just a thought. PS - If this is something you might like to see implemented, be sure to "Like" this top/first post (as well as any subsequent posts in this thread that highlight particular aspects of what you are interested in) -- "Liking" the top/first post helps the Devs to know how much interest there is in a given Feature Request. 1
Spaceboy 2573 Posted May 2, 2019 Posted May 2, 2019 Problem is some features have been requested numerous times so it would be very difficult to do that comparison. What would be interesting in my opinion is for the devs to say, here are 10 things we are thinking of working on, where would your vote go. Still doesn’t mean it needs to be followed by devs but it would improve engagement by several orders 4
funwithmedia 373 Posted May 2, 2019 Author Posted May 2, 2019 Problem is some features have been requested numerous times so it would be very difficult to do that comparison. That's a good point. I don't see any easy way around that, other than merging of threads. While not perfect, I still think it would be interesting to see. What would be interesting in my opinion is for the devs to say, here are 10 things we are thinking of working on, where would your vote go. Still doesn’t mean it needs to be followed by devs but it would improve engagement by several orders That certainly could be cool. Also, related to that idea: https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/71298-roadmap-transparency-ie-how-many-upvotes-does-a-feature-request-need-before-you-actually-implement-itwork-on-it/ 1
