simonselmer 27 Posted April 30, 2019 Posted April 30, 2019 Hi When I started using Emby 6 months ago or so, it would often occur that when starting my Android Emby app on my OnePlus 6, it would start up blank / black screen. I had to then swipe the app away in the multi-window thing. Then start Emby, and then it would work fine. After some time, that has now not happened for a long long time, like it was fixed. But for the past week, I'm experiencing it again. Often now when opening the app it's black, and I have to swipe off the app. Any suggestions?

simonselmer 27 Posted May 3, 2019 Author Posted May 3, 2019 9.0.5. I have recently switched to Emby Server on Synology instead of Emby Server on a PC. I dont know if that can cause the black screen?! It only happens when opening the Emby app after not using it for long time. Like if I have used it today, then for the past week, when I open it the first time tomorrow afternoon, it will be blackscreen. Then when I fix it, by exiting the app, and opening it as new, then I will not have any issue the rest of the day.
