Michudy 1 Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 Hi, i am using BETA channel of Emby.. last week I reinstall my computer and install BETA emby again.. but now after installing Emby again, the movie folder are recover itself.. the .nfo files remains on their places.. but on TV Shows are shown every subfolder as a separate TV Show.. even if in .nfo file structure are still the same info as before reinstall.. i didnt use the exact folder structure as in manual.. on some shows there are folders for seasons and folders for episode.. on some shows there are only files as episodes.. but before re-install i did not have a problem with emby recognized it itself... but now I have planty of folders as a separate TV shows.. I post some screenshoot.. the Emby TV Shows, and a screenshot of folders in Windows File manager (the example shows is "24" I used Czech naming.. but before reinstall there wont be any problem with this) I am from Czech Republic so sorry for the bad english
Happy2Play 9785 Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 With changes in v4.1, there are issues for users that do not conform to Emby's support structure. https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Wiki/wiki/TV-naming Emby has never technically supported episode folders but Luke has said he has a fix coming for them. (in one of the other topics on this issue) Here is one. https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/72642-question-about-custom-season-names/.
hazhanglei 3 Posted April 29, 2019 Posted April 29, 2019 I also encountered the same problem, the problem was solved when I tried to change the folder name.
Luke 42089 Posted April 29, 2019 Posted April 29, 2019 There will be a fix on the beta channel soon. Thanks guys.

Luke 42089 Posted June 5, 2019 Posted June 5, 2019 It's due to the way you've named the season folders.
