Emby doesn't won't playing .srt files

Hey,

 

The following problem arises with me:

 

With different Movie files, EMBY does not want to play .SRT files. this phenomenon is popping up at both EMBY WEB APP and the Android app.

 

Someone a solution for this?

Happening to me too, only in newest version of Chrome. It works in Firefox

Actually if this is Chrome 74, if you look closely you can see the subtitles positioned at the top, however, we're adding a margin to push them up so they might be slightly cut off.

 

I am not sure why Chrome 74 is putting the subtitles at the top now, but we'll have to see if we can work around it. Thanks.

For me the .srt files are not displayed when playing back movie files that have been converted from .MKV container to .mp4 and if I have deleted the embedded subtitles from the original .mkv file.
