outlaw69uk 7 Posted April 25, 2019 Posted April 25, 2019 Hey guys Cant seem to get my head round this. I think the first question is, Does Emby class music videos as "dvds", or, is it individual music videos, ie songs? I have added that IMVDb plugin, and, currently trying to tweak my folders to set it up. For as long as I can remember, I set to mixed content, then hand edited each one to get it right (bit of a pain, but works!). My folder structure is (exactly) this I have no problems with the concerts/DVDs/Films in here, the mixed content finds them easy enough. I have all my individual songs in the Music Videos folder, and, up till now, labelled artist - title (you see in next screen), but I saw another thread where it says omit the artist name and just use song title, and they had each one in an artist folder, so, I have done 3 like that too as below Thing is, when I scan library, and go look, there is nothing. They show in the folders view, not the main one, and, absolutely nothing is tagged in any way (apart from an odd one in 3 Colours Red) In folders they at least show And, in The 3 Colours Red one, they act like movies with multiple versions (ie the drop down to choose it) I would have thought they would show up in the general window? Also, when I go to identify them, IMVDb is not an option I can choose?
outlaw69uk 7 Posted April 25, 2019 Author Posted April 25, 2019 This didnt upload, thats the folder view, where I can actually see files And this is the one where it seems to work like the movies, but, tags the main folder as something odd
Luke 42087 Posted April 25, 2019 Posted April 25, 2019 Do you still have the mixed content library setup? if so, remove that. You cannot currently have two libraries using the same folder. Please let us know if this helps. Thanks.

Hey Luke, works in a fashion yes, they are populating Cant use "identify" is that right? literally a blank screen when I do (with the IMVDb thing) Its getting metadata from somewhere, but some is very messed up, and they dont seem to have references like IMDB TVDB etc
shawnf 8 Posted April 26, 2019 Posted April 26, 2019 (edited) I am having a simular issue with the "Identify" option missing. Started last week when I created a new folder in my TV Servies and since it didn't resolve the series details I was going to use the identify option to point it to the correct data, so then the auto organize will work. Been doing it that way for quite some time since I start rebuilding everything in February. Last 2 folders I have created I no longer have this option. When I click on an older already existing series I still have this option, just not for new folders. On the left is what it looks like in the metadata manager where is has alot of missing fields compared to the one on the right that is fine. This might be because it can't identify the program though. Edited April 26, 2019 by shawnf
