If I were to purchase an HD homerun prime cable card box would I be able to get all the channels through emby or only anything that's not DRM. I intend to try out an antenna in the summer once i start work on my house but the distance to.the city is iffy. Thanks
BillOatman 596 Posted April 22, 2019 Posted April 22, 2019 Check with Spectrum before you buy the homerun.. I looked into that a year or so ago and with a cablecard you got almost no channels. Also cablecard and streaming with their app (like on the Roku for example) are two different things.
all4dom 101 Posted April 22, 2019 Author Posted April 22, 2019 When I do my kitchen in the summer I'm also doing other things & one of them is trying to see if I can get my locals with sn antenna. If it works then I'll have my contractor install it.
