Liao.Xiaoyong 0 Posted April 22, 2019 Posted April 22, 2019 My OS is Windows server 2019(1809,17763.437) and after installing the emby server 4.1.0.26 stable version,I can't process "next" step after adding the Media Library.But it run correctly with 4.0.30 portble version.Can anyone help me?thanks

My OS is windows server 2019 X64.After I added the media library,I click the "Next" button,but the program (emby server 4.1.0.26)don't response it.I restart the program several times but every time the program stop at "Next" step and not response at all.

Liao.Xiaoyong 0 Posted April 23, 2019 Author Posted April 23, 2019 My browser is the IE that the OS system bulit in and the OS is the latest version.I don't think it's the browser debug because the emby server 4.0.30 x64 portable version runs correctly;There is no other error infomation because it's stop at the "next" step and I have to close the program and restart it and it will start from the beginning and stop at "Next" step again.
Happy2Play 9780 Posted April 23, 2019 Posted April 23, 2019 Can't test right now on 2019, but I would bet the browser is the issue. That is IE 11 correct? I would suspect you will need to use Firefox or Chrome as I don't believe the OS has Edge if I remember correctly..
Happy2Play 9780 Posted April 23, 2019 Posted April 23, 2019 Unless version makes a difference, I had no issue installing in IE 11 on Server 2019. Clean install from ISO, disabled IESC on Admin, downloaded Emby from download page and installed. C++ 2015 installed during installation.

The emby server 4.0.30 portable version runs correctly.

Liao.Xiaoyong 0 Posted April 23, 2019 Author Posted April 23, 2019 Yes,it's updated from 4.0.30 portable version to 4.1.20.6 and the new version can't run correctly.BTW,I can't download the 4.0.30 offline complete setup file and so have to run 4.0.30 portable version,but the portable version can't run automaticly when OS start.
