vaise 340 Posted April 21, 2019 Posted April 21, 2019 Two remote family members have chromecatss - both called 'Family room TV'. On dashboard, this flips between them both. Apart from asking one to rename their device, is there anything on the server side I can do to fix this ?

Luke 42079 Posted April 21, 2019 Posted April 21, 2019 There's no way to get a unique device id from chromecast so we use the name as the identifier. that's why this happens. It's possible to improve our handling of this, but unlikely to happen in the short term.
