HW transcoding on Zotac ID41

Hi,

 

I'm just asking because I'm not sure: Should HW transcoding work on a Zotac ID41 (CPU: Intel Atom D525 // GPU: Next-Generation NVIDIA ION w/512MB DDR3) under Ubuntu?

Hi,I would think so. Have you tried it?

Yes, but when I play a movie which has to be transcoded, the dasboard only show "software" and the CPU usage reaches 100%.

 

Also under "Transcoding -> Enable hardware acceleration when available: Advanced" no "Preferred Hardware De-/Encoders" are shown.
