PGS Subs

I do not know if is related I got a movie if I am using the burned PGSSUB subtitles Samsung TV are transcoding cannot even play since it keep stopping the audio is 16 bits 6 channels , AC3 (dolby digital) anyway I am using a digital receiver for audio

TV says reasons for transcoding subtitle not supported

If I am not using the PGSSUB subtitles I got direct play

Same here, don't think PGS subtitles are supported by the TV. I remove all the PGS subtitles from my MKVs and then let emby download text ones, direct play works fine then

Correct, they are not supported by the TV and that's why you're seeing transcoding when the subtitles are activated.
