IkeTaylor11 61 Posted April 17, 2019 Posted April 17, 2019 Since the last update to the iOS client Emby is now showing up on the lock screen as a music player. If I watch a movie in Emby, stop playback and just leave the app open in the background then lock my phone. When I click to see the lock screen Emby is on it thinking it should be available for audio playback. This never used to happen, its only since the last update. When you click play, nothing happens. Can this be changed so that it doesnt show up on the lock screen? Its very annoying having to close out of the Emby app every time I am done using it.
IkeTaylor11 61 Posted April 17, 2019 Author Posted April 17, 2019 How are you stopping playback? I hit the back button in the player to go back to the movie screen. I have also tried to pause prior to hitting the back button and it does the same thing. There is no stop button when watching a movie, just pause or back to previous page.
