Very slow tunning live tv

Just want to ask does anyone experience very slow tunning to live tv. On my ipad it takes around 17 seconds it is not much faster on other clients.

 

If that is normal for now i can understand but hopefully in the future it will improve.

 

Also the max resolution that i can watch live tv is 480

hmm, until live tv is available in a windows client its going to remain largely untested. it needs implementing in MBT asap so that you actually get some volume of users using it and reporting bugs. wmc is still doing live tv for me and will until MBT supports it

I have used Live TV on both the web client and XBMC. It is pretty slow on both. There was an explanation I read somewhere but can't recall the technical reason. I started using Live TV because I an additional computer and don't want to use any more xboxs as extenders. I too am waiting to see what comes of Live TV on MBT and classic since again I don't want any more Xbox extenders.
