paralepepipedo 1 Posted April 14, 2019 Posted April 14, 2019 (edited) Hi, it happens to me often that watching a movie in a place outside the network freezes the image. Attached log so that you can help me understand the problem and perhaps solve it. Thank you embyserver.txt ffmpeg-transcode.txt Edited April 15, 2019 by paralepepipedo
Happy2Play 9785 Posted April 15, 2019 Posted April 15, 2019 Sorry no logs attached. Please post server and ffmpeg log.
paralepepipedo 1 Posted April 15, 2019 Author Posted April 15, 2019 ohh sorry, post from the cell phone, there are the two llogs.
Happy2Play 9785 Posted April 15, 2019 Posted April 15, 2019 To me it just looks like the server might not be powerful enough to transcode the media.
paralepepipedo 1 Posted April 15, 2019 Author Posted April 15, 2019 And if I increase the upload speed, the transcoding process could be a little lighter?
Happy2Play 9785 Posted April 15, 2019 Posted April 15, 2019 Only if it was enough to Direct Stream the media, as the server is only able to transcode at about 25 fps.
paralepepipedo 1 Posted April 15, 2019 Author Posted April 15, 2019 I can rise up to 100mb, did you think it's can be enougth?
Luke 42090 Posted April 15, 2019 Posted April 15, 2019 I can rise up to 100mb, did you think it's can be enougth? That's not related. This is about horsepower on the machine, not network resources. You have subtitles selected which need to be burned in with server transcoding. Can you try turning the subtitles off and see how it compares? thanks.
