Enrique1980 4 Posted April 14, 2019 Posted April 14, 2019 Hi. I have marked "Show episodes not available in seasons" in the TV shows library and "Display missing episodes within seasons" in my user profile, but no next episodies are showed. What can I do?
Happy2Play 9782 Posted April 14, 2019 Posted April 14, 2019 (edited) Sorry what exactly are you asking? What are you expecting to see? Edited April 14, 2019 by Happy2Play
Luke 42080 Posted April 15, 2019 Posted April 15, 2019 Hi, yes can you please give an example? thanks !
Enrique1980 4 Posted April 15, 2019 Author Posted April 15, 2019 Exactly what appears in the image of "Happy2Play". I have attached 3 images: In the first file (FamilyGuy.jpg) you can see a series with 17 seasons. I only have two and the other 15 do not appear as "missing". Into the second season do not appear as "missing" the episodes I don't have. In the second and third images you can see the options of my user and the library. They have been showing for a long time, but not now. But I do not know since when. Thanks PS: Sorry if my english is poor
Enrique1980 4 Posted April 15, 2019 Author Posted April 15, 2019 Add one more image: As you can see the episodies 3 and 4 are missing, but it do not appear as missing.
Luke 42080 Posted April 15, 2019 Posted April 15, 2019 Did you try running a library scan after turning it on? Have you enabled internet metadata features for your tv library?
Enrique1980 4 Posted April 15, 2019 Author Posted April 15, 2019 "Did you try running a library scan after turning it on?" -->Yes, both options are enabled since I added the library after installing the server on my QNAP NAS. "Have you enabled internet metadata features for your tv library?" --> I've attached severals images with the options of the library (i'm sorry, in spanish)
Luke 42080 Posted April 15, 2019 Posted April 15, 2019 You need to have tvdb enabled and top priority as the feature currently depends on that. It's a little bit of a drawback with the feature to be honest.
Enrique1980 4 Posted April 15, 2019 Author Posted April 15, 2019 OK thanks. Maybe you should indicate it in the options.
Happy2Play 9782 Posted April 15, 2019 Posted April 15, 2019 Doesn't look like it has to be top priority but it does have to be enabled as I was just testing this and when I enabled TVDB and did a library scan it was second.
Enrique1980 4 Posted April 15, 2019 Author Posted April 15, 2019 YES!!! It's Works. "TVDB" enabled, library scan and.....the missing episodes appears Thank you
Enrique1980 4 Posted April 16, 2019 Author Posted April 16, 2019 Hello again. I have been doing tests with this topic. After adding "TheTVDB" the missing episodes appear, but to stop appearing as missing, "TheTVDB" must be the first option. If "TheTVDB" is not the first option, the episode is still missing although I add it. Regards
Happy2Play 9782 Posted April 16, 2019 Posted April 16, 2019 Hello again. I have been doing tests with this topic. If "TheTVDB" is not the first option, the episode is still missing although I[/size] add it. Regards Sorry I don't understand as all I did was add a episode that was missing and do a library scan or allow RTM to discover the media. No missing items appeared. Set Library downloader options Then I enabled both "Display missing episodes within seasons" options and did a library scan. All series now show missing items when you enter the series. And adding a item and allowing it to be auto discovered or performing another library scan adds the item and is no longer missing. Added S01E01 that was previously missing and added via realtime monitoring.
Enrique1980 4 Posted April 17, 2019 Author Posted April 17, 2019 (edited) I have done the following test: 1. Look at the first image "1-SerieAntesFaltantes.jpg". As you can see, episodes 11 and 12 appear. 2. I activate the option "Show episodes not available in seasons" 3. I run "Scan all libraries" 4. Look at the second image "2.SerieDespuesFaltantes.jpg", episodes 11 and 12 appear as "missing" (but they are) In the options of the library, "TheTVDB" and "TheMovieDb" are activated in all the sections. "TheMovieDb" is the first in all sections. Of course, if I turn off "Show episodes not available in seasons and re-run "Scan all libraries", the episodes reappear again. Happy2Play 9782 Posted April 17, 2019 Posted April 17, 2019 To that would appear to be either a metadata or database issue as you can see a Language difference in the episode titles.
Enrique1980 4 Posted April 17, 2019 Author Posted April 17, 2019 (edited) You're right. But I can not specify different language for "TheTVDB" and for "TheMovieDB". Suggestions? Edited April 17, 2019 by Enrique1980
Luke 42080 Posted April 17, 2019 Posted April 17, 2019 My suggestion is turn off the missing episodes feature and get that information in other ways, such as the Statistics plugin, or Reggi's new stats application.
Happy2Play 9782 Posted April 17, 2019 Posted April 17, 2019 When Emby displays your episodes as missing, do they still play? There is a glitch somewhere as it is reported here also. But if I had to guess it would probably be a database issue. https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/72466-emby-thinks-episodes-are-missing-when-theyre-not-mixed-library-paths/?p=730833 One thing you could try is removing the Series, doing a library scan then re-add the Series and scanning again. If that resolves the issue on that Series, that would confirm there is a issue in your current database.
