Hi there, can you attach the emby server log file?

What happens if you remove the tvh plugin?

hello,

i tested now some things. i purged many times my emby installation. i tried the stable version and also the beta version. my problem is caused by a plugin. im to 99% sure.

at the moment i have my server running since about 10hrs. i configured my server complete but the only thing i didnt do, was installing a plugin. so now i guess the crashes are caused by a plugin. i need to test which plugin it is. than i can provide the log. maybe its a bug? at the moment im running the beta with activated premium.

but i got one question now...when i find the plugin which crashes the server... how can i delete or deinstall this plugin, without using the webinterface? cause i cant connect to it anymore, when the server keeps crashing.

Hi, thanks for the investigation ! If you look at an emby server log the program data path will be displayed near the top of the log. The plugins folder is right under that. You can simply delete the .dll file for a plugin that you have installed.

What plugins have you installed?

hi,

i had installed tvheadend plugin. than the crashes came back. i deleted now the tvheadend.dll and in the configurations folder the tvheadend.xml. than i restarted the server. after the restart i can go to the webinterface. but just once. if i wanna go there a second time, or if i click on the movies, config tab or other....it crashed again.

i hope i got the right log file attached.

regards

I notice you've created a library with an smb:// or unc \\ path.

Instead of doing this, try mounting the network share to a local path using the tools in ubuntu. Then add the local path to Emby. I'm pretty sure this is smb-related.
