darkassassin07 652 Posted April 14, 2019 Posted April 14, 2019 (edited) I just went to look at my server activity to see whos been online watching stuff today and was met with this: The entire 'activity' section on the server dashboard looks like this starting at 12:15:22 up until 12:25:20. I asked that user about it and he said he started that movie, and watched it all the way through then closed it. No odd stops and starts or anything. Why is this singular event filling up the entire visible section of the log forcing me to dig through and decipher the log files if I want to see any other activity? Turns out the user involved thought I was talking about something completely different for some reason. When he tried to play the movie 'The Incredibles' it started just fine, but then it kept randomly pausing/stuttering almost like it was struggling for bandwidth (though both the server and client have no connection issues with each other and 30mbit/s up/down). He only ended up playing like 20sec of video then just moved onto something else as he didnt want to play with it at the time. The user only started/stopped playback manually once each, yet the activity log shows dozens of starts/stops (mostly stops) Here's the days logs with my domain edited: embyserver-63690796781.txt Edited April 14, 2019 by darkassassin07

zouzougr 1 Posted May 20, 2021 Posted May 20, 2021 a repetition in the activity log for the start and end of the same movie many times times continuously regardless whether the end user was playing/stopping the video or not. In my case you could see the "The Courier" movie endlessly being played and stopped.
