Hi Friends!!

 

 

With this configuration shown above, how many concurrent users would my server support? Transcoding .mp4 / .mkv videos into 720p or 1080p. Uplink 1G (Dedicated).

 

My project would be in 75/90 users, but without audience expectations and peak, varying high peak in the weekends.

 

Example: 1 .mkv video transcoding to 10-12 concurrent users?

you can get away with about 10-11 simultaneous transcodes.  I'd recommend you pre-convert those files into something that can easily stream and not worry about transcoding.  75-90 users is a pretty big ask, and you're gonna need a monster server to do what you're proposing.
