Buffer

Hi,

 

I'm having issues where files will start playback for about 20 seconds than will pause but won't continue with playback but loop back to the start of the video, after so long I get the buffer circle logo ... this is only for files via gdrive using google cloud sync.

 

I can playback local files ok.

 

My connection is 300Mbps down so now issues there, I've tried multiple devices (htpc, shield, firestick 4k) aswell as multiple files (480p, 720p ect)  ... all files are directplay (audio is remuxed on some) so nothing heavy on my servers cpu.

 

Any ideas what could be causing this? ... everything has been working ok for a while.

I think i have the right log file from just now.

 

@@Happy2Play my upload is 20Mbps

 

I can stream local files from my home via a mobile connection with no issues, the issue is when trying to stream files from my gdrive, as there are no complaints on here or other forums of gdrive being down I assume the problem is my end somewhere.

 

I think the issue may be Google Drive File Stream no syncing the media correctly?

 

Everything was working ok this afternoon.

 

Have tried (all connections are wired via Cat5e)

Firefox latest Beta (PC)

Emby Theatre (HTPC)

Emby Android (shield, firestick, Pixel C)

Problem seems to be sorted now, must of being a ISP issue in the evenings as all working fine now

seems I jumped the gun a bit, still have the issues with google cloud sync so have now installed rclone and all working ok.

 

1 thing is the libraries on the rclone mount doesn't update when new items are added, have done a full library scan plus enabled real time monitoring but only time the libraries update is when a schedule task is ran ... currently have a scheduled task running every 1 hour to update the library.

 

Any ideas on this?

I'm guessing the rclone mount will not work with the realtime monitor so you'll just have to run a scan.

 

Running a scan manually is the same thing as running the scheduled task.
