thefirstofthe300 292 Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 I have noticed ever since I started using the Android client that the fast-forward button does not do what it should for me. Instead of skipping 30 seconds ahead of the current movie time, it jumps to a time somewhere between 30 seconds and one minute in the movie. I don't understand why and it seems to always happen like this regardless of whether I have just started the movie or if I am almost finished. I can't make heads or tails out of what is causing this weird problem as the time seems to be random. Has anyone else noticed this problem?
Redshirt 1487 Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 If you don't fast-forward, just let the movie play... Does the current position time update? Or is it always 0:00?
thefirstofthe300 292 Posted May 14, 2014 Author Posted May 14, 2014 The current position time updates on the display.
thefirstofthe300 292 Posted May 16, 2014 Author Posted May 16, 2014 @@Redshirt Any updates on this yet? Do you need logs? Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
thefirstofthe300 292 Posted May 20, 2014 Author Posted May 20, 2014 @@Redshirt I can confirm I am still having this problem in the most recent update. I will say that the app is infinitely more stable for me after the update though so very nice work. Now if only I could use fast-forward/skip. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
Redshirt 1487 Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 I haven't addressed it yet. I do know what the problem is. I'm in the middle of rewriting the video player logic on the client so would prefer to leave this one alone rather than fix it in code that's going to be deprecated shortly.
thefirstofthe300 292 Posted May 22, 2014 Author Posted May 22, 2014 Sounds good to me. I can wait. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
