simonselmer 27 Posted April 9, 2019 Posted April 9, 2019 Hi I'm just testing using Schedules Direct to get TV Guide Data, to a Emby Server running on a Synology NAS. It works very well so far, and I'm happy that SD also provides logoes as well, but have seen the following issue When Emby imports the TV Guide from SD, it tries to match the guide data to the channels. It fails 50% of the time. I then re-map the data to the correct channels, and after re-importing the data, the guide data now matches the channel. BUT the logo for the channel is still stuck in the wrong logo from the initial mapping. So it's seems after a re-mapping and re-loading data, Emby does not overwrite the logoes again. I work around however is to delete the logo manually channel by channel, and then after a reload og the guide data, Emby get the correct logo for that/those channels.
Luke 42078 Posted April 10, 2019 Posted April 10, 2019 Hi, yes I suppose we should probably reset the logos at this point, although, given that you can customize them we never forcefully do that. For now, the easiest thing to do would be to use the image editing features to delete the incorrect logos, then the next refresh of the guide will pull new ones in.
simonselmer 27 Posted April 10, 2019 Author Posted April 10, 2019 Yes, that's the workqround I found. I just need to delete them individually for 30 channels or so. Either a correct remapping of logoes should be implemented, or it would be nive to have a "Remove all logos/pictures"-button, so remove all and then start from scratch.
