Rhino J Board 0 Posted April 9, 2019 Posted April 9, 2019 I have noticed since emby server had updated i appear to be missing alot of my movies. I have narrowed it down to one drive (\\Network\E:) that appears to be missing. Ive checked to see if there has been any file/drive sharing issues/changes but all appear to be ok as I can access the drive from all computers, and the other 2 drives (\\Network\F & \\Network\G) all have these movies appearing in my movie library. Is there any suggestions as to what the issue maybe? is it a know issue with emby server? It has all been running smooth as silk before hand. thanks in advance embyserver.txt embyserver-1.txt embyserver-63690191998.txt embyserver-63690278398.txt embyserver-63690364797.txt embyserver-63690404117.txt

Rhino J Board 0 Posted April 10, 2019 Author Posted April 10, 2019 Hi there, what exactly is missing? Can you please go over an example? Thanks. So I have my emby server running on my living room machine name \\Betty, this also has my TV shows located on it \\Betty\E, \\Betty\F, \\Betty\G, \\Betty\H, \\Betty\I and \\Betty\J. And my movies are stored on theater room machine \\Barney and the movies are on drives \\Barney\E, Barney\F and Barney\G. from what I can tell it only appears to be movies from \\Barney|E that appear to be missing. All my TV Shows appear to be ok but now that i've read the below reply I may look further into it. From what you can tell is this just a networking issue? I can access \\Barney\drives from \\Betty so hence why it had me confused, maybe just a coincidence that it appeared to happen around same time as Emby server version update. does that help? Looks like your shares are going offline. 2019-04-09 10:56:24.025 Error LibraryMonitor: Error in Directory watcher for: \\Barney\e System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception: System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception (64): The specified network name is no longer available Source: TargetSite: No Stack Trace Available 2019-04-09 10:56:24.025 Error LibraryMonitor: Error in Directory watcher for: \\Barney\g System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception: System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception (64): The specified network name is no longer available Source: TargetSite: No Stack Trace Available Looks like permissions issue 2019-04-09 11:51:37.037 Error HttpServer: Error processing request System.UnauthorizedAccessException: System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path '\\10.0.0.2\e' is denied. Rhino J Board 0 Posted April 11, 2019 Author Posted April 11, 2019 are these locations still valid? Yes nothing has changed as far as locations. I had removed library and re-added in the hopes that may do the trick but same thing.
Luke 42090 Posted April 17, 2019 Posted April 17, 2019 Were they offline at the time of the library scan? The server should still be able to handle this, but I'm just curious. The error message above says that Emby Server could not reach the folder at that particular time.
