No TV Channels at all

Hi All

 

I have a Haupagge tv nova s which is recognized by Emby. I use Freesat direct from the dish not running through sky or anything so i have click Freesat Cable as my feed.

 

Am using emby tv guide and can watch tv through my card out of emby but not getting anything come up in emby.

 

The channel list is empty and the schedule only has one line in it at the current time with three dot by the side. When I click these it goes to the settings of what I want to show on my guide .

 

If I update the guide in scheduled tasks it does nothing.

 

I have followed the guide on setting up tv but not getting very far

Yes I see them listed and can watch TV the hauppage software

How long should it take to find any chanels. I have tried resetting and rebooting

Also should I set up my favourites and the order to which I would like them to be in the Hauppage software first as ATM all my channels are how they were first scanned. Does Emby look at every channel or just my favourites ?

What hauupauge software? wintv?

It was win TV. I checked older posts and found that I needed to update the card to 8.5. Had to use 8 as my card did not support very lastest but it's now working as it should
