How do you "quickly find new subtitles within the apps"?

How do you do the "quickly find new subtitles within the apps" part of this? I'd love to be able to manually download a subtitle but can;t figure out how this is done.

Click the three dot menu for a video -> Edit Subtitles

 

Please note, not all apps have this yet.

Thank you Luke! I guess I will wait patiently for the AndroidTV app to have this feature.

Android tv i think has this feature go to settings playback and enable show pre-playback media selections

 

I had a look and It is not the same as edit subtitles so you have to wait to be implemented.
