Movie Playback (locally) causing pixelation

Greetings - 

While watching movies on my VIZIO TV w/ Chromecast built in, I am noticing constant video pixelation.

I've tried using the TV on hardwired and over WiFi thinking perhaps it's a bandwidth issue - no change.

I've also tried w/ Hardware Acceleration on and off - no change.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, are you still seeing this? In this log the example playback sessions are direct playing. There is not much we can do in that situation to change this.

Maybe the source is just poorly compressed?
