Emby App crash on playback

Hello,

 

I'm having an issue with the Emby app on my Minix Neo U1 running Android.  Immediately after attempting to play a movie the app processes and sometimes plays for a second and the freezes up and eventually kicks me back to the desktop.  If I play the same file from the In-Home (LAN) access through Chrome, it seems to work fine. The file type is .mkv and others of the same type and source work fine.

 

Server version: 4.0.3.0 on windows 10

Android app version: 3.0.42

 

Approx playback time in the log was 3:32 for the most recent attempt.

Seems to solved the crashing/hangup issue.  Thanks! 

I will monitor the stability going forward.

Is this a beta release or a rollback version?  Am I safe to update down the road?

It's a beta but i would stay on it for now, it will auto-update to the next release and that will be very soon. Thanks.
