WMP Starts then stops

Hello all,

 

I have an interesting problem that have never encountered, I have been using MB for about 5 years now and very familiar with the interface and most features.  I have stayed current on all the new releases etc.  So heres the issue WMP will start the movie file and play for about 10-15 seconds and then close reverting back to the MBC theme screen.

 

What I have done:

uninstalled and reinstalled ffdshow, LAV,

uninstalled and reinstalled media center and media player

uninstalled and reinstalled MBC and MB3 server

clean registry

scanned windows for any media playback issues

 

Same result, I am now to point if re-installing the win 7 OS.  Does anyone have advice before I blow the OS away?

You are using WMP as an external player?

No.external setup, just installed codec and filters from MBT installation but I am using MBC interface.

Okay, so you aren't using WMP - you are using the internal WMC player (which is not exactly the same).

 

Does it behave this way on all content or only some?
