Codeh 7 Posted April 5, 2019 Author Posted April 5, 2019 Any help would be grateful, as it is very frustrating to have emby crash any time anyone wants to watch something.
Luke 42085 Posted April 8, 2019 Posted April 8, 2019 Hi there, can you try uninstalling these plugins and then restarting the server? 2019-04-04 08:16:54.622 Info App: Loading playback_reporting, Version=1.2.10.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null from /config/plugins/playback_reporting.dll 2019-04-04 08:16:54.622 Info App: Loading Emby.Plugins.Gotify, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null from /config/plugins/Emby.Plugins.Gotify.dll 2019-04-04 08:16:54.623 Info App: Loading statistics, Version=2.0.9.1, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null from /config/plugins/Statistics.dll Please see if this has any impact. Thanks !
Codeh 7 Posted April 9, 2019 Author Posted April 9, 2019 I removed playback_reporting and statistics, and that seems to have done the trick! Thank you!
Codeh 7 Posted April 18, 2019 Author Posted April 18, 2019 (edited) @@Luke, issue has come back. I start the container, view the main dashboard, and emby crashes. I never reinstalled those plugins, and even removed my Gotify plugin, but the issue persists. I have even updated to v4.1.0.26 end of container logs: Application started. Press Ctrl+C to shut down. Codeh 7 Posted April 27, 2019 Author Posted April 27, 2019 @@Luke, any idea how to fix this? The frequent crashes are very frustrating.

Codeh 7 Posted May 2, 2019 Author Posted May 2, 2019 @@Luke, any progress on this? It currently crashes 100% of the time whenever a user views the dashboard, which makes it almost impossible to start playing anything.
Luke 42085 Posted May 3, 2019 Posted May 3, 2019 I'm not sure at the moment but we'll have new betas up soon with updated third party libraries. You could try that to see if it helps. Thanks.
Codeh 7 Posted May 15, 2019 Author Posted May 15, 2019 Update: I deleted all of my metadata and had emby regenerate and emby has not crashed since. My guess is that it was crashing while trying to parse a corrupted file
