Non-admin is able to delete files from server?

If a standard user makes a collection with any movie and then browse over to the collections they can then click the three dots on the collection and delete it which will result in it and everything in it being deleted from the harddrive on the server too. Is this intended?

Yes, no user is able to delete anything, not even my admin account.

If you're referring to movie collections, those are different because any user can create a collection. The permissions around these need to be revamped in the future.

 

But deleting them will not delete the media files that have been added to the collection.

You sure? because it promts with a message that says the opposite.

I just tried now and you are right, it does not remove the mediafile on the harddrive, maybe thats a translation error, im using swedish translation.

It's just a generic confirmation dialog used for all deletes. We need to customize it a little bit for certain types
