runtimesandbox 171 Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 I run my emby server behind a reverse proxy without issues. If i stick cloudflare in front of this, I am unable to use chromecasting I can connect to the chromecast fine, browse my media to find an item to play. However when I press play on it, nothing will happen. No spinning circle to suggest its starting to transcode. Nothing in the logs server side to suggest i pressed play. Does anyone else have this issue running it behind cloudflare?
Luke 42078 Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 This sounds like although your mobile device can connect to your Chromecast, your Chromecast cannot reach your Emby Server. This either means it truly cannot connect, or if you have configured SSL, it could mean that Chromecast is not trusting your certificate.

runtimesandbox 171 Posted April 9, 2019 Author Posted April 9, 2019 Works if you set minimum TLS version to 1.2 Its an odd one as it connects to the server fine, it shows the back drops of the shows it just won't play anything. Very odd!
